Christmas Present Solution

Working hard at school has resulting in being very poor. Solution for Christmas Present? Make one illustration and give one to all my family and friends. :)
I started with two different pictures my dad took while we were on vacation in Colorado. I couldn't find one picture I liked so I put two different ones together. (one of the train and one of a mountain)
I wanted a drawn looked so I printed out the photoshop file and traced it with a sketchy style. (My hint: I printed the file out with a tint of cyan overlay on it so that when I scanned it back in I could separate the black sketch and cyan background easily using channels in photoshop)
I then used my collected of scanned in fabrics (courtesy of my school's interior design library) to color in my sketch.
