Arriving At Beijing: Wednesday, May 16th

My first experience in Beijing was one of my favorite moments of China. We began with an excellent meal at a Chinese restaurant (discovered what we liked and what we didn’t like) and went to a night market. The night market was extremely exciting with all the stuff that crowded the walls and all the people that crowded the alleyways. The first impression was perfect because I learned quickly about the crowds, the excitement and the amazing and funny Beijing nightlife of Beijing kids my age.  I learned quickly about the difference in standards for sanitation, organization and personal space. It was great fun and I immediately knew I was I was going to like the Chinese.
