My original idea was to have the model represent two hands that are holding on to each other. The Draft model was looking good but I wanted it to look more abstract and less an recognizable object.
My idea was to extend the fingers so that the fingers supported the other object and the fingers would look less like fingers. What resulted was a very creepy looking hand.
Creepy was definitely not what I was going for, so I played around with it a lot and finally decided to abandon the idea of the hand and just go with an object that supported itself through its "fingers".
